Driving Instructors

If you are looking to have driving lessons to prepare you for a driving test then you will need to contact driving instructors to find somebody who would be suitable for teaching you. Some people will change driving instructors several times if they do not get on with a particular instructor, it is important to go for driving instructors who can effectively teach you.

The market for driving lessons is frankly overcrowded and when browsing through the lists of local driving instructors in your area you may find yourself to be slightly overwhelmed. Many people will go for driving instructors who are employed by large motoring companies such as BSM. These companies often run franchises for driving instructors and they will lease vehicles to them which they can then use for lessons. However many people argue that driving instructors employed by these companies tend to be under qualified when compared to independent driving instructors who operate privately as they are often not required to hold an Approved Driving Instructors Certificate.

When choosing driving instructors it is important to ensure that they are flexible enough to provide you with lessons when you need them. Most independent driving instructors who are self employed are very flexible and will be more than happy to give lessons on weekends and evenings. The prices of driving lessons vary a great deal, however most driving instructors will charge around £20 for a one hour lesson.
